Kerala TET June 2025 Registration Begins at ktet.kerala.gov.in; Apply by July 10. The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has issued the official notification for the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) June 2025 session. Online registration is now open on the official website — ktet.kerala.gov.in — and will continue until July 10, 2025.
KTET is a state-level eligibility examination conducted to assess the qualifications of aspiring teachers for government and aided schools in Kerala. The certification is required for teaching positions across multiple levels and categories.
Exam Schedule and Categories
The exam will be held over two days in two shifts daily:
- Shift 1: 10 am to 12:30 pm
- Shift 2: 2 pm to 4:30 pm
Kerala TET 2025 will be conducted for the following four categories:
- Category 1: For Lower Primary classes
- Category 2: For Upper Primary classes
- Category 3: For High School classes
- Category 4: For Language teachers, specialist teachers, and physical education teachers
Each paper consists of 150 multiple-choice questions, to be completed in 2.5 hours. Candidates must score at least 60% to qualify. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, there is a 5% relaxation.
How to Apply for Kerala TET June 2025
- Go to ktet.kerala.gov.in.
- Click on “Kerala TET June 2025 Registration” This will redirect to the application page.
- Provide accurate personal, academic, and communication information.
- Upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature as per instructions.
- Pay the fee. Rs 500 for General/OBC and Rs 250 for SC/ST/PwD categories. Payment can be made online.
- Review all details, submit the form, and download a copy for reference.

What Happens After the Exam?
Candidates who qualify the Kerala TET will become eligible to apply for teaching roles in government, aided, and select unaided schools across Kerala. As per the latest NCTE guidelines, the KTET certificate now carries lifetime validity.
