Educational Qualification
A B.Ed degree is typically required for most subjects. However, in a major update, B.Ed has been made optional for Computer Teacher posts to address the shortage of eligible candidates seen in past recruitment drives.
This change follows the 2018 cycle, where only 36 out of 1,673 Computer Teacher vacancies were filled due to the strict B.Ed requirement. While B.Ed is still considered a desirable qualification, candidates without a B.Ed can now apply for these posts as well.
