SSC CHSL 2025 Notification Released for 3,131 Vacancies – Apply Online at ssc.gov.in by July 18. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination 2025 on its new portal, ssc.gov.in. A total of 3,131 vacancies have been announced for Group C posts, including Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant, and Data Entry Operator (DEO).
The online application process began on June 23, 2025, and will remain open until July 18, 2025, up to 11:00 PM. The deadline for paying the application fee online is July 19, 2025 (11:00 PM). A correction window for editing the application form and submitting correction charges will be available from July 23 to 24, 2025.
The Tier-I Computer-Based Test will be conducted from September 8 to 18, 2025, and the Tier-II exam is tentatively scheduled for February to March 2026.

Eligibility Criteria: SSC CHSL 2025
Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. Those currently appearing for their Class 12 exams are also eligible to apply, provided they meet the required qualifications by the cutoff date for document verification.
For the position of Data Entry Operator (DEO) in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG), it is mandatory for candidates to have studied Mathematics as a subject in the Science stream at the 10+2 level.
Post-Wise Pay Scale: SSC CHSL 2025
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Level-2 (₹19,900–63,200)
- Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Level-4 (₹25,500–81,100) and Level-5 (₹29,200–92,300)
- DEO Grade ‘A’: Pay Level-4 (₹25,500–81,100)
