SSC CHSL Age Limit 2025
The date of birth entered by the candidate in the SSC CHSL online application form must match the one recorded in their Matriculation or equivalent certificate or birth certificate. This date will be considered final by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for determining age eligibility, and no requests for changes will be entertained later.
The prescribed age limit for SSC CHSL is as follows:
- Minimum Age Required: 18 Years

SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria 2025

SSC CHSL Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The selection process has two stages of computer-based tests (CBT) followed by a skill test/typing test:
Tier-I (Computer Based Examination)

Tier-II (Computer Based Examination)
Tier-II has two sessions on the same day and multiple sections.

- For DEO (Other Dept.): 8000 key depressions/hour
- Typing Test for LDC/JSA:
- English: 35 wpm
- Hindi: 30 wpm
- Duration: 10 minutes
- Skill Test and Typing Test are qualifying in nature only.
Final Selection Criteria
- Final merit list is prepared based on Tier-II scores only
- Skill/Typing Test is qualifying – marks are not added to merit
- Candidates must qualify all sections of Tier-II to be eligible
Document Verification
- Carried out by user departments after the final result
- Candidates must present original 10+2 mark sheets and other required documents
