UPPSC CES Prelims Result 2025: UPPSC has released the 2025 Combined State Engineering Services (CSE) Preliminary Examination results. A total of 7,358 candidates have qualified to appear for the main examination. The results are available on the official website — uppsc.up.nic.in.
The preliminary exam took place on April 20, 2025. Of the 78,798 candidates who registered, 31,639 appeared, and 7,358 have cleared the prelims to move forward to the next stage of the recruitment process.

Candidates who have qualified in the prelims will now advance to the next stage—the main written examination. This phase will evaluate their in-depth subject knowledge and analytical abilities.
Those who perform well in the mains will be shortlisted for the interview round, which will assess their personality, communication skills, and problem-solving capabilities. Final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance across all three stages—prelims, mains, and interview.
Marks and Cut-Offs
The marks secured by candidates in the preliminary examination, along with the category-wise cutoff scores, will be released on the official website after the completion of the main exam. UPPSC has also clarified that the final selection outcome is subject to the verdict in Special Appeal No. 475 (D)/2019, currently pending before the High Court, filed by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
