The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has declared the WBJEE Result 2025 today on its official website, wbjee.in. The announcement follows the Supreme Court’s stay on a Calcutta High Court directive that had ordered the cancellation of the earlier merit list and the release of a revised one.
On 22 August 2025, the Supreme Court put a hold on the High Court’s order, which had termed the existing merit list “erroneous and unsustainable” and instructed the Board to publish a fresh merit list incorporating 7% reservation for 66 OBC classes recognised by the West Bengal Backward Classes Department before 2010.
With the apex court’s intervention, WBJEEB has released the results without altering the existing merit list, bringing long-awaited relief to thousands of students eagerly waiting for their scores.
Category Submission Facility Closed on 21 August
Earlier, WBJEEB had provided an online facility for candidates to upload their SC, ST, and OBC category details along with valid certificates. The window remained open until 21 August 2025 (11:59 PM). These submissions were taken into account for the preparation of the WBJEE 2025 results.
Steps to Download WBJEE Result 2025
The candidates can check their results online by following these steps:
- Visit the official website wbjee.in or wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee.
- Click on the WBJEE Result 2025 link available on the homepage.
- Enter your application number, password, and security pin.
- The WBJEE 2025 scorecard will appear on the screen.
- Download and save the result for future reference.
