On December 26, 2023, the registration process for Assistant Lineman positions will commence at Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL). Interested candidates are welcome to submit their applications through the official PSPCL website at pspcl.in.
The ongoing recruitment campaign aims to occupy 2500 positions within the organization. The deadline for applications is until January 15, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who have successfully completed Class 10 or its equivalent, along with holding a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in Lineman Trade, are eligible to apply for the positions. Candidates with higher education, like a Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, qualify if they also hold the essential National Apprenticeship Certificate in Lineman Trade. The age limit for applicants is from 18 to 37 years.
PSPCL Assistant Lineman Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
The selection process for this recruitment involves a computer-based test, divided into two parts. Part I and Part II. Candidates will encounter multiple-choice questions in both parts, and each correct answer will receive one mark. Notably, there will be no negative marking, meaning that incorrect answers will not result in a deduction of marks.
Candidates must actively take part in the examination, and the entire test is scheduled to last for a duration of 3 hours, equivalent to 180 minutes. During this time, candidates will navigate through the questions in both Part I and Part II of the computer-based test. Showcasing their knowledge and skills relevant to the Assistant Lineman position. The absence of negative marking encourages candidates to attempt all questions without the fear of losing marks for incorrect responses, promoting a fair and balanced evaluation of their performance.
Application Fees
The application fee for all candidates, excluding those belonging to the Scheduled Cast and Persons with Disability categories, is ₹944 plus applicable bank charges. SC and PwD candidates must pay an application fee of ₹590 plus bank charges.
